Giannis Marinos Hall

The newly renovated Giannis Marinos Hall is located at the premises of The Friends of Music Society inside the Athens Concert Hall and can accommodate up to 190 attendees.

The Giannis Marinos hall features modern audiovisual equipment (including wireless microphones and a video projector), a new extended stage, a piano and stage lights which make it ideal for hosting lectures, musical events, plays, presentations,seminars and exhibitions.

Lecture Hall 

The Lecture Hall of the Society’s Music Library features a piano; its exceptional acoustics make it ideal for concerts, as well as plays, lectures, educational programmes, and book presentations.

The Hall features modern audiovisual equipment which includes wireless microphones, a video projector, and audio/video recording ability of seminars and conferences.

It can accommodate up to 100 attendees.

MusiXLab 

The MusiX (eXperience) Lab – Music Experience Space of the Friends of Music Society is a new space of technology, education and innovation created within the Music Library. It has the functional infrastructure to host seminars, lectures, workshops, conferences, events, educational programs, book presentations and more.

The room is equipped with audiovisual equipment and a video projector for any type of seminar or conference. It also has seminar tables that can be arranged in any configuration for collaborative work.

There is also the option of interconnection with the Lecture Hall and the Giannis Marinos Hall. It has the capacity to serve 60-100 attendees, depending on the seating arrangement and the configuration of the room.

Foyers

 

The two Foyers of the Friends of Music Society can, upon request, ideally host your cocktails, in combination with another hosting space.

Reading room

Thanks to its modern infrastructure, the Reading Rooms of the Library is an ideal environment for seminars, workshops, and meetings of smaller groups.


Plan your event

The Friends of Music Society offers all the above spaces for hire at very attractive prices. Finally, thanks to its experience in the field of communication, the Society offers the option of promoting your events to its large contact list, as well as on its website and its social media accounts.

Cocktail parties can be arranged to complement all events at the Foyer of the Giannis Marinos Hall.

All spaces offer excellent access to the Atrium of the Muses and are served by the underground parking facility of the Athens Concert Hall.
All spaces can be used separately or in combination.

Access

The spaces are located at the Athens Concert Hall (Megaron Mousikes) and can be reached from the entrances of the building on Vas. Sofias Avenue or on Kokkali St.

The Concert Hall is situated at the corner of Vas. Sofias Avenue and Kokkali St.

You can get here by public transport from any part of Athens:
• By metro, it’s just two minutes from the Concert Hall Metro Station to the door of the Concert Hall
• By bus, buses Ε14, Α5 and 550 stop right in front of the Concert Hall
• By electrically driven bus, buses 10 and 3 stop right in front of the Concert Hall

Visitors to Athens can easily find the Concert Hall:
• From the airport you can take bus Χ95, or a 35 minute ride on the Metro will bring you to the Concert Hall
• From the railway station, it’s just 30 minutes to the Concert Hall Metro station
• From Piraeus it’s just a few minutes ride on the Metro.

If you come by car you can park in the Concert Hall’s new three-level parking facility, which has spaces for 750 cars. The entrance is on Kokkali St. and the facility is open from 6am to 2am every day. For more information, call 210 7282311.
