"Love Songs of the 80s - A Piano Bar On Valentine's"

Piano and nostalgia on Valentine's eve

With Kostas Tsangarides

This year, just two days before the most romantic day of the year, pianist-singer Kostas Tsangarides invites you to a unique musical experience full of love and nostalgia from the 1980s. On Wednesday 12th February at 20:00 at the Music Library “Lilian Voudouri”, Megaron - The Athens Concert Hall, the atmosphere of an authentic piano bar will come to life, taking you back to a time when love was sung with passion and emotion.

This Valentine's Day will be a time capsule of the 1980s, a decade when love and music intertwined to create timeless memories. From the iconic 'Lady in Red' by Chris de Burgh to the intense 'I Just Died in Your Arms Tonight' by Cutting Crew, and from the heartfelt 'Against All Odds' by Phil Collins to the romantic 'Right Here Waiting' by Richard Marx, the evening promises to evoke memories and emotions. Timeless pieces such as Leonard Cohen's 'Dance Me to the End of Love', Eric Carmen's 'Hungry Eyes' and Stevie Wonder's 'I Just Called to Say I Love You' will touch the sensitive chords of every heart that knows how to love and dream.
